Live camera chat on iphones
You Tube’s standalone You Tube Gaming app had also leveraged Replay Kit, allowing gamers to live stream games from developers including Gameloft, Savage and Super Evil Megacorp.
Whenever you use the new Camera button that's at the bottom of the screen on a Face Time call, it captures a photo, but don't worry - this can't be done in secret and the other party is always notified when an image is captured.
That means if you’re playing a game or even drawing a sketch on your i Phone, you can stream directly to You Tube.
This same functionality has been available to Android users for some time, but on i OS, You Tube had to implement support for Apple’s Replay Kit before it could make this feature possible.
Most notably, You Tube will now allow i Phone users to stream directly from their phone’s screen – a feature that was previously available to those on Android.
In addition, You Tube is introducing the ability to live stream in real-time with little latency and is adding new tools for easier chat moderation, it says.
Plus, Viber allows group calling for up to 40 participants, just in case need to chat with that many people at once.
